Flavonoid intake & reduction in cancer risk

Colorectal cancer, also called colon cancer or large bowel cancer, is the third leading cause of cancer-related death in the Western world. Colorectal cancer incidence rates are approximately 10-fold higher in developed than developing countries, and differences in diet and lifestyle are likely to explain most of this difference.

Recent research has found that there is a strong inverse correlation between selected flavonoids in your diet & risk of colorectal cancer.
